Ep. 68 Tracy Chadwell, Founding Partner, 1843 Capital
Power in authenticity
“I’m very grateful to [Jordan] for encouraging me and giving me that confidence, and we all should have this kind of confidence and I think that the more open we are, the more we can get against bias…” says Tracy, “The more relaxed and open you are, the more relaxed and open people who are making investment decisions are.”
While often easier said than done, being open and vulnerable is absolutely vital to staying on the path to greatness. Fear of audience bias or the potential for failure will often lead to decisions that aren’t true to ourselves. Take it from Tracy Chadwell in this her Investors & Operators vlog—two years later and better than ever.
Our first vlog centered around this idea that authenticity was the key to good decision making and success. Fast forward to today and Tracy is a recipient of Forbes “50 over 50” and a prominent feature for the publication’s video launch. She now lives fully in this confidence and implements it into every aspect of her daily life.
Check out the full episode below, where Tracy and Jordan discuss:
authenticity and the importance of being true to yourself
spotting the early indicators for success
acknowledging the small victories
...and so much more.
